Biography
Catherine Roberts is an MA student in the Department of Political Science at Concordia University, specialising in Comparative Politics. She obtained her undergraduate degree in History and Languages from the University of Sheffield in England. Here, she completed her dissertation on Indian women’s resistance to British public health measures implemented at the end of the 19th century in various Indian cities. Catherine’s current research focuses on understanding how gender affects citizens’ interaction with democratic processes.
