Our Lab

Researchers, practitioners, and students focused on gender and public policy

The Feminist Policy Lab brings together researchers, practitioners, and students to advance gender and intersectional perspectives in public policy research and practice. It aims to facilitate the creation and application of innovative and relevant knowledge relating to policy processes and issues. With an emphasis on hands-on training, the FPL not only provides “real world” experience, but also stimulates innovative intersectional approaches to the study and practice of public policy.

A central goal is to acknowledge diverse “situated knowledges” and to bolster and mobilize insurgent and resurgent knowledges that trouble and transform conventional approaches to policy analysis.
