Dr. Claudine Mangen is a full professor and the RBC Professor in Responsible Organizations at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. She is concerned about how organizations work and shape inequalities, especially gender inequalities. Her research is currently exploring how organizational governance contributes to upholding and disrupting gender inequalities. Dr. Mangen is the lead researcher on the research program “Disruptive Dames? The process of disruption underlying women’s transition into organizational leadership,” which is funded by the by Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. It explores the process underlying the disruption of gender inequalities in the leadership of for-profit organizations in Canada. Dr. Mangen’s research has been published in leading academic journals, and she writes about it in the media.
