Lindsay Larios (PhD, MSW) is an interdisciplinary critical policy researcher and an assistant professor of social work at the University of Manitoba. She studies citizenship and immigration as they intersect with family and reproductive politics and policies and the ways in which access to healthcare is shaped by immigration, jurisdiction, and borders of all kinds. Her most recent work focuses on the politics of pregnancy and childbirth and precarious migration as an issue of reproductive justice. Dr. Larios teaches classes on social justice, policy and policy analysis, and community-based advocacy. She is an active member of the Healthcare for All Manitoba Coalition and sits on the Board of the Women’s Health Clinic.
