Mami Takahashi is a researcher at the National Institute of Population and Social Security Research in Japan. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Interdisciplinary Gender Studies at Ochanomizu University, where her research examines the significance and challenges of incorporating intersectionality into Japanese public policy. Her current work focuses on two case studies—women’s support programs and housing support policy—using an analytical framework to explore what an intersectional perspective can reveal. She also co-translated Reproductive Justice by Loretta J. Ross and Rickie Solinger into Japanese with Professor Shin Ki-young at Ochanomizu University.
