Nick Dorzweiler (PhD, Northwestern University) is a Senior Professor of the Practice of Political Science and Women’s and Gender Studies at Wheaton College (Massachusetts), and a Lecturer in the Chicago Field Studies program at Northwestern University. He has research interests in the politics of popular culture, the history of the social sciences, and critical and feminist pedagogy. His recent articles have appeared in Perspectives on Politics, Policy Sciences, Contemporary Political Theory, Constellations, and Polity. A chapter on the ethical and political significance of feminist pedagogy was published in the co-edited volume, Feministing in Political Science (University of Alberta Press, 2024). His current book project, which has been supported by two ACLS Project Development Grants (2021-2022, 2023-2024), investigates the mid-twentieth-century political scientist Harold Lasswell and his development of a mass psychotherapy program for the National Broadcasting Corporation.
