Biography
Rocío Palomeque is a researcher in sociology and gender, specialised in gender (in)equality and work. Originally from Spain, she did her BA in Translation Studies and her BA in Humanities at the Pablo de Olavide University (Spain). She holds a MA in Women’s and Gender Studies by the University of Hull (UK), and a PhD in Sociology, Gender and Media from the Nottingham Trent University (UK). She has worked as a lecturer at Nottingham Trent University, and as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. She is currently based in Montreal, Canada.
