Victoria Jones is a PhD student researching military culture and gender. Her research explores hypermasculinity, hegemonic masculinity, gendered power, hierarchical systems, gender mainstreaming, and feminist frameworks. By analyzing these topics within the context of military sexual misconduct, she hopes to discover insights into what can improve the military’s response to harassment, discrimination, and sexual misconduct. Victoria is a Vet who presently serves on an advisory board with Veterans Affairs Canada. She spent over 28 years in the Investment industry and is a small business owner. She holds a B.Ed. from McGill, an M.A. from Athabasca, and a Graduate Diploma in Organizational Behaviour and Coaching from the University of Texas. Victoria is a mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend, especially to dogs.
